May - Ready or Not!?

May on the Farm
Even though it is only mid-May, so much has already happened at the farm!
Our Pizza Preview was a beautiful day and gave us the chance to test out seven new pizzas. The clear favorite was sliced dried beef, red onion and a drizzle of chimichurri. So good.
Opening Day brought a few drops of rain, but that did not stop the crowd from coming out to hear the French Hillbillies, one of our personal favorites. It was such a great way to officially kick off the season.
As we roll into summer, we are on track for pizza nights every Thursday and Saturday from 4:30 to 8:00 pm through Labor Day. We also have public and private goat yoga sessions happening throughout the season.
Our next big event is Father’s Day. This year, we are collaborating with Milaca Meats for the meat products on our pizzas, and on Father’s Day we are doubling down on the meat. Along with our famous wood-fired pizzas, the Milaca Meats team will be serving BBQ ribs and tomahawk steaks, fresh off the grill. It is the perfect add-on for Dad.
We will have two Father’s Day seating windows: 11:30 am to 2:30 pm and 3:00 to 5:30 pm. You can reserve the time frame that works best for your group and arrive anytime during that window. Guests will also be able to reserve their pizza crusts, ribs and tomahawk steaks ahead of time during their selected seating window. Remember, our pizza events are an experience, you should plan to slow down and enjoy your time at the farm.
There are a few other fun updates around the farm this year. Brad has been busy putting his brick-laying skills to work with a new fireplace in the Grainzebo. Reserving this space makes for a beautiful backdrop to any type of gathering.
A new cement pad in the Coup was added and some much-needed work on the outside of our ovens. They have definitely seen their share of pizzas. The garden is going in this week, with lots of tomatos, peppers and our signatur Shishito Peppers.
The farm is coming back to life, and we are so excited to see you this season.
